Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has responded to the surprising win of popular Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, at the movie premiere of Eniola Ajao’s "Ajakaju" over the weekend.
At the premiere, Bobrisky was named the best dressed, receiving one million naira, causing mixed emotions among attendees, including actress Toyin Abraham.
Expressing her disappointment, Dayo Amusa shared a video expressing her dissatisfaction with the decision to award a crossdresser the title of best-dressed female. She criticized the judges and organizers, suggesting that a separate category should have been created to appreciate crossdressers.
However, she concluded the video on a positive note, clarifying that she harbors no ill feelings towards anyone and simply wanted to share her opinion.
Dayo Amusa's comments section has been flooded with reactions, with many supporting her viewpoint, while others speculated that Bobrisky's win was a publicity stunt to promote the movie.
