Nollywood mourns the loss of beloved actor Sisi Quadri, with actress Wumi Toriola issuing a heartfelt message to her colleagues in the wake of his passing.
The sad news of Sisi Quadri's untimely demise was reported on Friday by his colleague Tunde Olayusuf on Instagram. It was revealed that the young actor had succumbed to kidney-related issues, a disclosure made by blogger Seun Oloketuyi on his Instagram page.
In the aftermath of his death, photos and videos of Sisi Quadri on his deathbed circulated on the internet, leaving Wumi Toriola deeply upset. Taking to her own Instagram page, she implored her fellow industry members to show respect for the deceased and refrain from sharing his family's vulnerable moments. She urged them to demonstrate civility, particularly during the burial, and refrain from sensationalizing the situation.
Expressing her grief, Wumi revealed her own pain and warned against provoking her anger during this difficult time. She bid Sisi Quadri a peaceful rest and declared her love for him.
"Please let's respect the dead, let's not show their vulnerable moments. Please, be civil if you have their moments, especially during the burial. Don't be forming a news breaker on top of people's pain.
To my colleagues who like to do first-time break news, in your breaking please respect their vulnerable moments. I am in pain, if you come for me I will use this pain to storm you. Rest in peace, Sisi Quadri. We love you so much, God loves you most."
