Francis Ngannou Breaks His Silence Following Defeat To Anthony Joshua.

Former UFC champion Francis Ngannou has issued an apology to his fans following his knockout defeat by Anthony Joshua on Friday night.

Joshua's powerful right hand in the opening round and a combination of hooks in the second round led to Ngannou's knockdowns. Despite his efforts to rise, Ngannou was unable to continue after another forceful right hand, prompting the referee to stop the contest.

Taking to the microblogging platform X, Ngannou expressed regret for disappointing his fans and assured them of his determination to bounce back from what he termed as "a bad day at the office."

"Sorry guys I let you all down. Today was a bad day in the office but tomorrow will be another day. Thank you all for the love," he wrote.
