Fuji music icon Wasiu Ayinde, also known as Kwam 1, has expressed his desire to continue his education after having left school prematurely many years ago. Speaking in a recent conversation with journalists at his Mayegun Resort in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, the 67-year-old musician shared his plans to enroll as an undergraduate at Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.
Kwam 1 attributed his decision to his passion for learning, stating that he is driven by a lifelong pursuit of knowledge. He acknowledged his previous departure from school before completing his education and disclosed his discussions with the university's music department dean regarding his aspirations.
Reflecting on his approach to life and learning, Kwam 1 emphasized his belief in continuous self-improvement. He remarked that he engages in research throughout his life and is committed to learning until the end. This decision to return to education represents his determination to pursue personal growth and development on his own terms.
