Former National Union of Road Transport Workers leader, Musiliu Akisanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, marks his 49th birthday today. Taking to Instagram, the philanthropist shared reflections on the past year, emphasizing the importance of loyal friendships and dedicating himself anew to serving humanity.
Expressing gratitude to Allah for another year of life, MC Oluomo recounted the eventful nature of the previous year, which brought forth valuable lessons and unforeseen challenges. Among these lessons was the significance of keeping loyal friends close.
In his birthday message, MC Oluomo reaffirmed his commitment to serving humanity to the best of his ability, hoping for a positive impact that future generations will appreciate. He wrote: “Last year was eventful! A lot of lessons were learned and many things hitherto unknown were made bear. New life lessons were learned and, of course, the struggle continues. But as eventful as last year was, I learnt an all-important lesson to always keep your ‘friends’ close but those that are truly dedicated and loyal closer.
I have reflected on so many things and as it is customary to me, I’m using my birthday and new age to yet again re-dedicate myself to the good course of humanity. I will serve humanity the very best way I can, hoping that posterity will handle the rest.
