Reports emerge of a tragic incident in Zimbabwe where a man, Onias Mangena, allegedly set himself ablaze due to suspicions of his wife's extramarital affair with their landlord.
According to local news sources, Mangena doused himself in petrol and ignited the fire, following long-standing suspicions regarding his wife's relationship with their landlord, Wilberforce Mukumba.
Member of Parliament for Silobela, Jonah Nyevera, confirmed the incident, stating that Mangena had locked his wife and children inside their rented home during a dispute before purchasing petrol with intentions to harm them.
Thankfully, alert neighbors intervened upon hearing cries from Mangena's family, rescuing them and alerting authorities. Despite attempts by the police to reach him, Mangena falsely claimed to be at home.
Nyevera revealed the tragic outcome, explaining that Mangena ultimately set himself ablaze inside the house, resulting in his demise. The community is left shocked and saddened by this devastating turn of events.
