Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has taken a stand against trolls as she reflects on her 16-year career journey. Sharing an old clip from a movie set, she questioned the presence of her critics, noting that most of them weren't even born when she began her acting career.

Expressing her intolerance for such trolls, whom she referred to as "lunatics," Bakare declared that she would no longer tolerate their negative comments in her comment section. She asserted that she would clap back at them unless their hurtful remarks went unnoticed.

In her words: "Where were you when I started my Acting career at Age 16? Most of these trolls were not even born. I will not be tolerating such lunatic commenters moving forward. If you come, you go collect exempt I did not see it. @simlineboss I think it’s time you also get started Boss. Click the link in my Bio to download my new book. Bakare's bold statement serves as a reminder of her resilience and determination in the face of online criticism. She also took the opportunity to promote her new book, encouraging her followers to download it for an engaging read.

Laide Bakare recently spoke out against criticism she received for her outfit at her book launch, clarifying that it was part of a costume she designed herself. She defended her choice, asserting that she was in control of the script and design, and questioned her critics' understanding.

In another post, Bakare questioned why netizens overlooked her expensive human hair, valued at 1.8 million naira.

However, her outfit choice sparked a public feud with Eniola Badmus, who mocked Bakare's attire, comparing her to Pastor Ajidara. Bakare retaliated, expressing her disappointment in Badmus and other colleagues who only seem to focus on her flaws instead of celebrating her victories. Despite their childhood friendship, Bakare vowed to let God handle the situation.
