“I Never Told Anyone That My Husband Gave Me STD" Mother's Wife Omowunmi Denies Sister's Claims

Omowunmi, the wife of the late singer Mohbad, has publicly distanced herself from the statements made by her sister, Karimot, indicating that her family does not share the same sentiments.

Karimot had criticized Mohbad's father for suggesting DNA tests, alleging that Mohbad transmitted sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) to Omowunmi, which she treated with antibiotics. Expressing frustration with those advocating for DNA tests, Karimot underscored the prevalence of STDs within marriages and pledged to involve the US government if any harm befell Omowunmi and her son.

Contrary to her sister's assertions, Omowunmi expressed heartfelt appreciation for the unwavering support she and her son received from the public during challenging times. In a personal message, she urged everyone to preserve the cherished memory of her late husband, whom she described as a kind-hearted and loving man she would marry repeatedly.

Omowunmi clarified that she had never accused her late husband of giving her STDs, being involved in a cult, abusing drugs, or physically assaulting her. Despite the controversy, she acknowledged the outpouring of love and support from those defending her, which she deeply values. She implored supporters to respect her husband's memory and ensure their son grows up proud of his father's legacy.
