Nollywood veteran Rasak Ajao, popularly known as Araosan, met up with fellow actor Kunle Afod in the United Kingdom.
During their reunion, Ajao opened up about his decision to leave Nigeria over two decades ago in search of improved financial prospects.
Initially, Ajao worked in the security sector upon arriving in the UK, but later pursued higher education and eventually transitioned into a career as a nurse.
Having left Nigeria on May 13, 2002, Ajao reflected on the 22 years since his relocation, noting that he has yet to obtain citizenship in the UK.
Presently, Ajao resides and works as a nurse in London, although he chose not to disclose the name of the hospital where he is employed.
Kunle Afod, who shared insights into their meeting, highlighted Ajao's journey of leaving Nigeria and adapting to life abroad, underscoring the challenges and experiences of relocating to pursue better opportunities.
