He detailed his experience with the media company, which used his movie poster and title to promote a different film, leading to revenue loss. Despite a three-year legal battle, Adebayo remained resolute in seeking justice.
With the support of his legal team, he presented compelling evidence and won the case, being awarded Twenty-Five Million Naira. Adebayo sees this victory not only as his own but as a win for all of Nollywood, emphasizing the need to combat intellectual property theft and piracy to ensure fair compensation for creators.
