''He Buried My Husband Hurriedly'' Widow Of Late Singer Mohbad Accuses Father-in-law Of Mishandling Autopsy Process

Omowunmi Aloba, the grieving widow of the late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, has leveled serious allegations against her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba. In a recent interview with Sahara Reporters, Omowunmi expressed her anguish over the failed autopsy test, which has left unanswered questions surrounding her husband's untimely demise.

The controversy stems from the last Coroner sitting in Lagos, during which the family's legal counsel, Senior Advocate of Nigeria Wahab Shittu, revealed that pathologist Prof. Sunday Osiyemi couldn't determine the cause of Mohbad's death due to decomposition, exacerbated by the delay in conducting the autopsy.

Omowunmi's anguish was palpable as she recounted the events leading up to Mohbad's hurried burial, despite pleas from herself, family members, and industry colleagues like Zlatan Ibile and Bella Shmurda. She lamented the rushed burial orchestrated by her father-in-law, which she believes obstructed the autopsy process and deprived her of closure.

The widow expressed conviction that had Mohbad not been hastily buried, the autopsy could have provided vital insights into his passing. She criticized the alleged mistreatment of her husband's remains and squarely placed blame on Joseph Aloba and his associates for the ordeal.

Mohbad's death on September 12, 2023, was shrouded in controversy, prompting an exhumation for an autopsy on September 21. However, the lack of conclusive results has only intensified the family's anguish and deepened the mystery surrounding the beloved singer's tragic end.
