Funke Akindele, actress and filmmaker behind "A Tribe Called Judah," eagerly anticipates the 2024 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA). Her film secured five nominations, including Best Actress, Best Film, Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Writer.


In an Instagram post, Funke shared behind-the-scenes footage from the movie and expressed her desire to win in all nominated categories. She conveyed her gratitude to her supporters and wished them luck at the AMVCAs.


She wrote: "I miss you guys so much. Thank you all for making history with me. Love you all. All the best at the AMVCAs!! I pray we win so we can celebrate. My babies Timini @tobimakinde @iamjidekene @olumideoworu."


Funke, nominated for Best Actress, faces tough competition from other talented actresses. The 10th edition of the AMVCA is set to take place in Lagos on May 11.
