Married NYSC member sent home after she was caught sleeping with a male colleague 24 hours after arriving at NYSC camp.

An NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) member, who is married, was caught in an inappropriate relationship with a male colleague during the mandatory three-week orientation camp. This incident happened shortly after the participants arrived at Non-wam Gbam Tai camp in Rivers State.

The young woman was promptly dismissed for violating NYSC rules, which strictly prohibit sexual activities on camp grounds. The details were shared on social media by user @thebearded_sina on the X app (formerly Twitter). He recounted the event, highlighting that breaking this rule results in immediate expulsion.

His post read, "During my camp at Non-wam Gbam Tai in Rivers. Apparently, it is an NYSC rule that you must not be caught having sex on camp. If caught, you’re sent out. Day 2, a married woman was caught having sex with a camper. She had to be sent home. Imagine being sent back to your husband for having sex with a stranger 24 hours after traveling to another state for NYSC."

This revelation sparked widespread reactions on social media. Some users shared similar experiences, while others expressed their opinions on the incident:

@nkemdiii: "Same thing happened when I camped at Nonwa Gbam Tai. Most married women voluntarily went home on day 1. A few got caught and were sent home. By the end of week 1, almost all married women in my room had gone home."

@Quin_didi: "I saw a married woman take off her ring so guys could buy food for her at Mami market. Food?"

@papilayi: "I served here too, doctor. They warned us sternly not to have any affair with housewives after camping because their husbands have jazz o. 😂"

The incident highlights the strict enforcement of NYSC rules and the potential consequences for those who violate them.
