In a recent development, IsraelDMW, aide to Afrobeat singer Davido, took to the comment section to celebrate Imade on Children’s Day. Reacting to a viral video of Imade on Pulse TV, where she wished her peers a happy Children’s Day and answered interview questions, IsraelDMW commented, “OGA money,” suggesting that Davido's wealth was evident in Imade’s appearance.
A few weeks ago, Gboah reported that Davido had wished his daughter a happy birthday as she turned 9. The superstar singer, who has been in a custody battle with Imade’s mother, Sophia Momodou, expressed pride in his firstborn and professed his love for her.
Tensions between Davido and Sophia escalated after he publicly declared his love for his wife, Chioma Roland, and reunited with her. This angered Sophia, who shared a post comparing herself to a cat refusing to take nonsense from a dog. In a 2023 rant, she hinted at ongoing issues between her and Davido as co-parents, accusing him of neglecting his financial responsibilities to Imade.
Sophia also shared a screenshot of an emotional chat between Imade and her grandmother, where Imade expressed heartbreak over her brother Ifeanyi’s death and her father's neglect, causing her significant sadness.
