Award-winning superstar singer David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has made a heartfelt promise to his first child, Imade Adeleke, as she celebrates her 9th birthday today. In a touching message, Davido expressed his deep affection, stating, "Happy birthday to my First born child. Just know Daddy loves you so much! And I will see you soon I promise."
Davido's commitment to Imade comes amid a co-parenting arrangement with her mother, Sophia Momodu. Their relationship took a sour turn when Davido publicly declared his love for his now-wife, Chioma Rowland, causing strife with Sophia. This rift was evident when Sophia posted cryptic messages online, hinting at their strained co-parenting dynamic.
In December of last year, Sophia further escalated tensions by sharing a conversation where Imade expressed sadness over her brother's death and her perceived neglect by her father. This sparked a fallout between Davido and his colleague and friend, Tiwa Savage.
Tiwa's partner, Tee Billz, publicly criticized Davido for neglecting his parental duties, siding with Sophia in the process. Tiwa herself issued a Threat to Life letter against Davido, alleging bullying and harassment. In response, Sophia also took legal action by sending Davido a cease and desist letter, citing online harassment.
