Nollywood actress and director Funke Akindele has received an outpouring of prayers and goodwill after spending over two million naira on Celestial Churches in Nigeria. To celebrate the churches' month of children harvest, she announced on her Instagram page her intention to donate one hundred thousand naira each to twenty different Celestial Churches.
Her followers praised her generosity, noting that she often contributes to such causes quietly. Sharing the news online, Funke Akindele wrote, "Happy Juvenile Harvest to our children!! We would like to give 100,000 Naira to 20 Celestial Churches for the children!! Please drop a Celestial Church account details! (ENSURE IT’S THE CHURCH ACCT DETAILS). The churches will be picked randomly. Oluwa a da awon Omo wa si o!!! Hallelujah!!"
