Publisher and activist Omoyele Sowore has claimed that the Federal government purchased an Airbus A330 Presidential Jet worth $100 million, with an additional $50 million spent on configuring or reconfiguring it. He shared a photo of the jet, initially named VP-CAC and now registered as 5N-FGA, on his Instagram page.
In his post, Sowore criticized the government for this expenditure, highlighting that it was not included in the annual budget. He pointed out the contrast between this lavish spending and the struggles faced by workers who are not receiving a minimum wage, and students who need loans for college. He also mentioned the approval of billions for hajj, which he alleged ended up being stolen.
Sowore concluded his post with a call to action, stating, "Fight we MUST! #RevolutionNow."
