Veteran actor Baba Lawori recently shared a video detailing a troubling incident involving MC Oluomo's boys while he was hosting an event. According to Lawori, while he was on stage, Kokozaria, an associate of MC Oluomo, sent one of his boys to summon him. When Lawori complied, he was questioned about why he had not mentioned or hailed Kokozaria during his performance. Lawori apologized, explaining he was unaware but promised to rectify his oversight.
In response, Kokozaria took to social media, challenging Baba Lawori to swear on his life if he truly believed Kokozaria had sent someone to beat him up.
Baba Lawori stood firm in his account, stating, "I am a good Muslim, and I don’t tell lies. People like Kokozaria are the type that oppress others with lies. He sent someone to call me from the stage and said, ‘Didn’t you see me on seat?’. Kokozaria, you are my younger brother’s age mate. I am not a fool. Which money did you give me? If I had died that day, this is how you would have lied against me. I have never come to you to ask for money."
The incident has sparked a debate online, with many supporting Baba Lawori for speaking out against what he perceives as an attempt at intimidation.
