Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has expressed outrage following a vicious assault on his colleague, Ibrahim Bello Sanyay, also known as Baba Lawori. Fabiyi took to Instagram earlier this month to raise awareness about the attack, allegedly carried out by an aide of Lagos socialite Koko Zaria.
According to Fabiyi's post, Baba Lawori was attending an event when he was lured into a confrontation orchestrated by Koko Zaria's associate. Despite apologizing and attempting to defuse the situation, Baba Lawori was brutally assaulted with a bottle, causing him to lose consciousness and sustain serious injuries.
Fabiyi, visibly shaken by the incident, emphasized the severity of head injuries and expressed concern over Baba Lawori's condition. He questioned the impunity of the assailant and called for justice, highlighting the need for action without requiring protests beforehand.
In response to Fabiyi's post, actor Damola Olatunji expressed support and prayed for justice to prevail swiftly.
