Nollywood actress Mosun Filani is overjoyed as her new series, "ERI IFE," hits the screens. Sharing her excitement, she thanked God for His grace, stating, "We started with Alpha and successfully concluded with Omega." The series is released in episodes, with Season 1 already garnering attention.
Filani posted numerous beautiful photos from the production on social media, providing a glimpse into the making of "ERI IFE." The series, produced by Beauty&Brain Movie Concepts, follows the intertwined lives of four women navigating stained marriages, love, and lies in their pursuit of a perfect home.
Reflecting on her career, Filani explained her hiatus from the film industry. She had announced her return last year after several years off-screen. In an interview with Oyinmomo TV, Filani disclosed that she took a break to prioritize her children’s upbringing over her career. "Business was not my priority. I decided to take that break. I took a long break for the kids to grow up," she explained. "For how long do they stay with us? When a child is in the University, he or she is no longer under the parents’ care, take it or leave it."
Filani emphasized the importance of being present during her children’s formative years, especially considering the impact of social media on young minds. She chose to step back from acting to ensure her kids received the proper guidance and support during their growing years. Now, with her children more independent, Filani is ready to make her mark again in Nollywood with "ERI IFE."
