The family of the late Yoruba actor Quadri Omotolani Oyebamiji, fondly known as Sisi Quadri, recently brought joy to his fans by announcing a significant tribute to his legacy. Sisi Quadri, a beloved figure in Yoruba cinema, was commemorated with the construction of an ultra-modern mosque in his hometown of Iwo, Osun State.
Sisi Quadri passed away on March 1, 2024, and was laid to rest on March 3, surrounded by loved ones and admirers. To honor his memory, his family built a spacious, yellow-painted mosque with a blue roof, which will serve as a place of worship for Muslims in the community.
