Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has responded to social media activist Very Dark Man following accusations of assault. The activist had called for Portable's arrest, claiming the singer assaulted a man during the recently concluded Felabration event in Lagos. He shared a video clip of the incident and urged the alleged victim to reach out to him for support.
In response, Portable posted a video on his Instagram page, warning the activist to understand that “online madness” is different from real life. The singer also told him to ask around about him in Abuja and rallied his fans to stand against fraud and online bullying.
In his video, Portable said, "Who dey cripple-ye, Awa Ọmọ who dey, who dey? We go cripple you. Who dey come dey fear? Only God we fear. Say no to ripping, say no to online bullying."
