Kira Taiwo, daughter of renowned actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has expressed deep admiration for her father's unwavering support, despite his busy schedule. In a recent interview with Sunday Scoop, Kira praised her father for always making time to feature in her skits, demonstrating his dedication to her success.
“My daddy is the best. People call him ‘father of all,’ but I am happy he is my daddy. He is a very supportive father. In spite of his busy schedule, he creates time to appear in my skits,” Kira shared, highlighting the strong family values often seen in Nigerian households, where parents play active roles in their children's careers, even in unconventional fields like entertainment.
Kira, who is both an actress and content creator, also reflected on her personal journey through motherhood. She described motherhood as "sweet but very stressful" and emphasized the importance of having a supportive spouse and a close-knit community to prevent postpartum depression.
“Being a mother is sweet, but very stressful. It is especially sweeter if one’s husband is a caring man, because after birth, postpartum depression might set in. If one has good people around one like I have, then one is lucky,” she remarked.
Kira further expressed her joy in seeing the success of other content creators, highlighting the sense of community within the entertainment industry.
