Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has gained strong support from her colleagues after issuing a public apology to the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPAN) and requesting that her industry ban be lifted. At a recent awards ceremony in Canada celebrating Yoruba actors and actresses, Nkechi knelt before TAMPAN leaders to express her regret and seek forgiveness, hoping to mend ties with the organization.
Following her public apology, Nkechi took to Instagram, where she shared her reflections on the experience. She expressed gratitude for her journey and the growth she’s experienced, noting, “I wish I knew the things I know now.” Acknowledging that real change involves deep soul-searching and inner peace, Nkechi extended an "unreserved apology" to TAMPAN members, hoping they would forgive her.
