Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has shared alarming details regarding the threats received by one of late singer Mohbad's neighbors. In a post, Fabiyi disclosed that the neighbor was threatened on September 11, 2024, prior to their planned meeting with an IT expert to retrieve CCTV footage from Mohbad’s home. The message threatened the lives of the neighbor and his children, warning that their movements were being monitored and their vehicle’s plate number was known.
Yomi Fabiyi explained that the CCTV footage in question, which captured activity in the singer's home—including the staircase, living room, kitchen, backyard, and front gate—could provide crucial insights into what transpired leading to Mohbad’s death. Fabiyi boldly claimed that those present in the house were aware of what happened and suggested a deliberate neglect in providing Mohbad medical attention.
In a message directed at the authorities, Fabiyi insisted that "Justice for Mohbad is non-negotiable," implying that any attempts by the police or government to cover up the truth would only lead to more deaths. He further revealed that his own life is in danger, as he is currently in hiding due to threats of assassination for speaking out.
He named various figures, including a prominent actress, a transport union worker, a top police officer, a state legislator, and an elected official, as being involved in the plot against him. Despite this, Fabiyi expressed confidence in divine justice and continued his call for accountability.
In his own words, Yomi Fabiyi wrote: "Justice for Mohbad is non-negotiable... If the Police and government want to kill more people just to cover up or want more people to die before they investigate thoroughly... it is up to honest Nigerians to accept." He concluded his post with a powerful statement: "Justice for Mohbad! Aluta Continua!"
The actor’s revelations have sparked further calls from the public for a thorough investigation into Mohbad’s death and for justice to prevail.
