Nollywood producer Kazim Adeoti’s first wife, Funsho Adeoti, has celebrated her mother’s 88th birthday with a touching tribute and matching family-themed photos.
Taking to Instagram, the mother of four shared beautiful pictures of herself and her mom dressed in coordinated outfits. She praised her mother as the most selfless and loving person in her life, expressing deep gratitude for her sacrifices and love.
In her heartfelt post, Funsho prayed for her mother’s continued good health, happiness, and prosperity, asking for God’s light to guide her. She wrote:

This comes after Funsho faced online criticism for her thanksgiving post amid her husband Kazim Adeoti’s second wife, Mercy Aigbe’s recent misfortune. Mercy had lost property worth millions of naira to a fire shortly before the premiere of her movie Thinline.
Funsho’s thanksgiving post, quoting scriptures on gratitude, was interpreted by some as insensitive during Mercy’s loss. However, many defended Funsho, noting that she often shares gratitude messages on her Instagram, regardless of circumstances.
Earlier this year, Funsho also advised her followers about resilience during life’s challenges. In an inspiring Instagram video, she shared wisdom about remaining steadfast during tests that often precede significant personal growth.
