Nollywood actress and box office queen Funke Akindele is set to break new records with her much-anticipated movie, Everybody Loves Jenifa. After months of heavy promotion, the film is set to hit Nigerian cinemas on December 13th, but it’s already making waves internationally.
Ahead of its UK premiere at Odeon Cinemas on December 20th, tickets have completely sold out. Overflowing with excitement, Funke took to her social media to express gratitude to her UK fans, announcing that additional screens have been secured to meet high demand.
Sharing her excitement, she wrote:
“JENIFANS WORLDWIDE. Our Dec 20 UK premiere is SOLD OUT. I can’t contain my excitement, and I LOVE YOU ALL. We have now secured more screens to accommodate our numerous requests.”
