Nollywood Yoruba actor Aliu Gafar has revealed an interesting encounter with a French admirer following his performance in the movie Seven Doors. During an interactive session shared on TVC’s YouTube channel, Gafar discussed the outpouring of love and admiration he has received from fans since the film's release.
The actor recounted a direct message from a French woman expressing her love for him because of his role in the movie. Gafar stated, “A lady from France told me she loves me and wants to date me because of my performance in the film.” He also shared how others have reached out, offering prayers and commending his acting skills.
Reflecting on his character in Seven Doors, Gafar noted that the role was vastly different from his real personality and required a shift in mindset to bring it to life. “As an actor, you have to be ready to step into any character. The set became like a home, and we worked as a family to make the project successful,” he said.
He praised the movie’s team, describing the cast and crew as a tight-knit group that provided invaluable learning opportunities. Gafar expressed particular admiration for Femi Adebayo, the mastermind behind the project, calling him a legend and a kingmaker in the film industry. “Femi knows how to guide everyone to ensure collective success,” Gafar added.
The talented actor also expressed gratitude for the recognition the movie has brought him, saying, “This moment means a lot to me, and I will cherish it forever. By God’s grace, I aim to deliver even more and leave a mark in the filmmaking world.”
Gafar hinted at exciting projects in the pipeline, promising fans groundbreaking content in the coming year. “Something big and unusual is coming. Expect phallocentric cross-cultural productions that will break boundaries,” he teased, leaving fans eagerly anticipating his next moves.
