Renowned Nigerian gospel singer Tope Alabi has captured the hearts of fans with a touching onstage tribute to her husband, Pope Soji Alabi, who also serves as her manager.
During the 15th edition of her annual worship event, Praise the Almighty, held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Nigeria Police Force College in Ikeja, Lagos, Tope Alabi took a heartfelt moment to celebrate her husband's unwavering support. The event, which attracted top gospel artists like Moses Bliss, Mercy Chinwo, Bidemi Olaoba, and Pastor Femi Lazarus, became even more special when Tope called her husband on stage.
In the viral video shared on her Instagram page, the singer could be heard showering praises on him, calling him "my one-man battalion, my husband, my boyfriend, my honey pie, sugar, sweety, the butter in my bread, my manager, and my other sweet names."
She expressed deep gratitude for his dedication, acknowledging his behind-the-scenes efforts in ensuring the success of the event. The emotional moment peaked when she presented him with an award and humbly went down on her knees in appreciation.
