Nollywood stars Toyin Abraham and Iyabo Ojo have once again proven the strength of their friendship with a touching moment that surfaced online during the grand wedding finale of Iyabo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo.
Although Toyin Abraham was unable to attend the grand wedding finale in Tanzania, she made sure to show love and support from afar. In a heartwarming video currently trending, Iyabo is seen getting ready for her daughter’s big day when she receives a call from Toyin.
Toyin explained that she couldn’t attend because of the premiere of her latest movie, Iyalode, which is scheduled for June 6th. She expressed how much she missed her friend and how sad she was not to be physically present at the wedding.
Iyabo Ojo responded graciously, expressing understanding and appreciation for the call. The emotional exchange won the hearts of many online, with fans praising their genuine friendship.
Earlier in the wedding celebrations — during Priscilla’s civil and traditional weddings in Nigeria — Toyin Abraham was very active and playful. She proudly declared herself “Iya Iyawo Kekere” (junior mother of the bride) and even engaged in a hilarious “clash” with influencer Enioluwa.
In a light-hearted moment, Toyin jokingly warned Enioluwa to stay off Iyabo Ojo’s path. Enioluwa fired back, telling her to stay away from Priscilla’s path too. The video brought laughter and excitement to fans.
When Iyabo later shared a video of Priscilla being warmly received by her Tanzanian in-laws, Toyin reacted with pride, once again calling herself Iya Iyawo Kekere. She playfully said that it would take ten people to tie her gele (head wrap) for the occasion — a comment that delighted fans and added to the joyful mood surrounding the wedding.
Toyin’s absence at the Tanzania finale didn’t go unnoticed, but her love and heartfelt call proved that distance couldn’t break the bond between the two Nollywood queens.
