“You All Are the Best” – Actress Mercy Aigbe Celebrates and Gives a Special Shout-Out to Single Mothers

Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Mercy Aigbe Adeoti, has shown love and admiration for single mothers, recognizing them as the best among all mums. The actress made the remarks during a recent appearance on Real Talk With Kike, a talk show where she also opened up about her mission as a filmmaker.

In a video clip from the interview shared on her Instagram page, Aigbe gave a heartfelt shoutout to all mothers, especially those raising children alone. She praised their strength, sacrifice, and resilience, calling them “amazing”.

“Shout out to all the amazing mums out there! Especially the SINGLE MUMS!!! Y’all are the best,” she wrote.

The actress went on to highlight her dedication to telling authentic, real-life stories through her work in film. She explained that her goal as a filmmaker is to create content that reflects people’s realities and emotional experiences — stories that audiences can truly connect with.

Aigbe also took the opportunity to thank fans for the massive support of her movie "Ada Omo Daddy", which has remained in the Top 10 on Naija Netflix for an impressive 11 consecutive weeks.

“A big thank you to everyone who has seen Ada Omo Daddy on @naijaonnetflix. Thank you for keeping us in the top 10 after 11 consecutive weeks! I am humbled,” she said, urging fans to keep streaming and keep the conversation going.

She ended her post with gratitude to the talk show host:

“Thank you, @realtalkwithkike, for having me on the show. You can watch the full interview by clicking the link in her BIO. God bless y’all.”

Just a few days earlier, Aigbe made headlines again during the premiere of her latest movie, "My Mother Is A Witch", where she gave an emotional speech. The actress recalled a painful childhood memory involving her daughter, Michelle, who once hit her head on a bucket, an incident that left her traumatized. Aigbe used the moment to apologize to her daughter and encouraged fellow parents to start having open and honest conversations with their children.

Through her words and work, Mercy Aigbe continues to resonate with audiences by blending deep personal experiences with storytelling — earning both praise and admiration from fans and colleagues alike.
