Popular Nollywood actress Olaide Oyedeji has opened up about how life has changed her views on parenting and relationships. In a candid video shared on her YouTube channel, Oyedeji TV, the actress reflected on promises she made to herself as a young girl—many of which she admits she could not keep.
Speaking honestly during the session, Oyedeji revealed that she once vowed never to have children with more than one man and to stay married no matter what.
“I used to say I won’t have two baby daddies and I’d have all my kids with one man,” she said.
“I also said I would stay with one man no matter what happened in the marriage. But things changed after I gave birth and started having problems in my first relationship.”
The actress explained that her experiences as an adult have been far different from her childhood expectations. Life, she said, had its own plans, and circumstances led her to make difficult decisions, including moving on from her first relationship.
