"You Will Beg Until You D!e": Iyabo Ojo Slams Kemi Olunloyo After She Accused Her of Maltreating Her Late Mother

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has fiercely responded to controversial investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo, following serious allegations about the actress's late mother.

In a Facebook post, Kemi Olunloyo alleged that Iyabo’s mother died from complications linked to paranoid schizophrenia, and claimed the actress mistreated her mother until her death.

“Contrary to rumours that she sacrificed her mom for fame, Iyabo Ojo’s mother actually died of paranoid schizophrenia. She abused the 67-year-old woman to the end,” Kemi alleged.

Responding during an Instagram Live session, Iyabo did not hold back. She accused Kemi of living a “pathetic life” and claimed the journalist is filled with hatred and has nothing meaningful to show for her age.

Iyabo also issued strong spiritual warnings, swearing that if she ever mistreated her late mother, all of Kemi’s curses should fall on her. But if she indeed took good care of her mother, as she claims, then Kemi and her generation would suffer the consequences of the false accusations.

“Kemi Olunloyo, you shall beg for money until you die. At your age, when you should have peace, you are still blogging out of hatred. You think you can come for my kids and go free? You’ll meet your Waterloo.”

The actress added that if she was truly responsible for sending Kemi to prison or behind the anonymous blog Gistlover, then all the curses should return to her. Otherwise, she vowed they would return to Kemi and her generation.

“If I ever beat or maltreat my mother, may all your curses be mine. But if I took good care of her, your generation shall be cursed forever.”

She ended her fiery message by mocking Kemi, saying she’s not on her level and that she’ll keep thriving while Kemi continues ranting:

“You’re beneath me, Kemi. You’ll keep ranting till you die, while I live my best life. I came without filters today because I came prepared.”

The confrontation has stirred major reactions across social media, with fans taking sides in the ongoing feud. Many praised Iyabo for defending her late mother, while others urged both parties to seek peace and stop the public drama.
