Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage has emotionally shared her frustration on social media over visa-related challenges that are disrupting both her professional and personal plans.
Taking to her Snapchat, the award-winning singer revealed that she is uncertain about the status of her visa application. According to her, she doesn’t know whether it has been approved or denied — all she knows is that her passport is still being held.
Tiwa, who has a major shoot scheduled in London, expressed deep concern that missing it could affect the promotion and release of her upcoming album. She described the situation as heartbreaking, admitting that she feels like crying.
To make matters worse, Tiwa also revealed that her carefully arranged travel plans for her son Jamil’s birthday, which is the next day, have now fallen apart due to the delay.
“My heart is so heavy,” she wrote. “I’m just going to switch off today. Praying that God gives life and hope tomorrow.”
The singer's post has stirred sympathy from fans, many of whom are sending messages of love and support, hoping that things turn around quickly for the music star and her son.
