"I took a girl out, and she ordered food worth ₦40,000 while I only ordered ₦7,000," Lege Miami sparks debate after abandoning date over ₦40K food bill.

Popular Nollywood actor and social media personality, Lege Miami, has stirred controversy online after publicly admitting to walking out on a date when his companion ordered a meal worth ₦40,000, while his own order cost ₦7,500.

In a video circulating online, Lege revealed that he deliberately left the restaurant without paying her bill, saying he decided to "report himself" before bloggers twisted the story.

“I took a girl out, which I rarely do. I ordered food worth ₦7,500, and she ordered food worth ₦40,000 — food I haven’t even eaten myself. So I left her there. If Instablog wants to post it, let me report myself first,” Lege said with a smirk.

The actor’s confession has since sparked heated reactions on social media, with many divided over who was right.
