actress and entrepreneur Lizzy Anjorin has taken to social media to celebrate her wedding anniversary with her husband, Mr. Lateef Lawal, while also seizing the opportunity to throw direct jabs at her longtime rival, Iyabo Ojo.
Sharing stunning throwback photos from her court wedding (2020), Lizzy expressed gratitude for her marriage, describing it as one built on love, loyalty, and mutual growth.
“Happy Wedding Anniversary to me and my crown,” she wrote.
“Marriage is about kindness and loyalty—not destruction. It’s about building together, not tearing a family apart.”
In what quickly turned into a lengthy and fiery message, Lizzy addressed Iyabo Ojo directly, accusing her of years of personal attacks and attempts to destroy her marriage and reputation.
She alleged that:
Iyabo once lied to her about receiving a diamond ring from Senator Dino Melaye shortly after Lizzy’s own wedding, which she now believes was a fabricated tale meant to stir envy or confusion.
Iyabo and an associate named Fola allegedly tried to sabotage her marriage, including forging a death certificate, stalking her family, and working with bloggers to push false narratives.
She also accused Iyabo of giving out her private phone number and security details of her home, and of sending armed men to her residence in an alleged kidnap attempt.
Lizzy further claimed Iyabo has made life difficult for her own children, while she, Lizzy, has remained focused on building her home and family.
In a strong emotional ending, Lizzy invoked spiritual declarations and prayers, warning Iyabo against further actions and expressing sorrow over the damage she claims Iyabo has caused in the name of envy and hatred.
Her message has since gone viral, with fans and industry watchers reacting to the deeply personal and shocking allegations. While some have praised Lizzy for speaking her truth, others urged both actresses to resolve their differences privately to avoid further damage to their reputations and families.
As of now, Iyabo Ojo has not publicly responded to the accusations.
