Nigerian music superstar Davido is pulling out all the stops to give his wife, Chioma, a royal experience ahead of their grand white wedding in Miami, Florida this weekend.
The award-winning singer, who recently confirmed in an interview that the white wedding would take place in August, has now flown out with Chioma and his 30BG crew to the U.S. for the much-anticipated event.
In viral videos shared online, Davido and Chioma were seen at the airport tarmac, boarding a luxurious private jet beautifully decorated with white roses and their signature wedding initials, “Chivido.” A surprised Chioma was captured admiring the romantic setup inside the jet, especially the bedroom area.
“E be like say wedding don start for inside PJ oo,” a fan joked on social media.
The couple's journey to Miami has sparked massive excitement online, with fans gushing over the lovebirds’ bond and Davido’s grand romantic gestures. The hashtag #Chivido2025 continues to trend across platforms.
Just a day earlier, Davido’s daughter Hailey, his elder brother Adewale Adeleke, and other family members also arrived in Miami, signaling that all is set for the big celebration.
Last month, Davido’s sister, Sharon Adeleke, shared a video of herself shopping for wedding items with Chioma, teasing fans about the upcoming ceremony and trying out wedding colour palettes.
This Miami wedding follows their grand traditional wedding in Lagos last June, which shut down the city. That lavish ceremony attracted top celebrities, politicians, billionaires, royal monarchs, and high-profile dignitaries.
During the traditional wedding, Davido made a heartfelt vow to Chioma, promising her a lifetime of love, protection, and respect—his famous “lifetime assurance.”
