“He Was My Boss and a True One at That” – Actress Regina Chukwu Pays Tribute to Late Veteran Actor Oloto

Nollywood actress Regina Chukwu has expressed her grief over the death of veteran actor Oloto, paying her final respects in a heartfelt post.

Taking to Instagram, Regina revealed that she had just been informed of his passing. She noted that Oloto played her father-in-law in her new movie, “Ole,” and described him as “my boss and a true one at that.”

In her tribute, she thanked him for his guidance and support throughout her career, recalling how he once encouraged her to learn make-up while waiting for her breakthrough and how he personally handed her over to the late Sisi Quadri for mentorship.

Quoting her post, she wrote:

“I was just informed that the actor who played the role of my father-in-law in my new movie, Ole, kicked the bucket. Oloto was my boss and a true one at that. It’s a pity. Rest in peace, Oloto!

Rest on boss. Thank you for the time you advised me to become a makeup artist on set while I await my breakthrough. Thank you for being the one who personally handed me over to Sisi Quadri, and then to learn from him. Thank you for coming on my set, even if it was an impromptu call time. Thank you for your role in Legal Wife, Ole, and Update, to mention a few! Thank you, OLOTO! Rest on, boss.”

Her emotional message has drawn condolences from fans and colleagues, who also praised Oloto for his contributions to Nollywood.
