Popular TikTok creator Jarvis has spoken out in defense of her partner, Peller, following backlash over a viral video that showed him shoving her into a car. The clip quickly went viral and triggered outrage online, with many accusing Peller of being abusive.
In response to the criticism, Peller admitted that his action was wrong. However, Jarvis has dismissed suggestions that she is a victim of domestic violence.
In a lengthy statement, Jarvis urged people to stop spreading false claims, stressing that she would never remain in an abusive relationship.
“Advise your family, not me,” she said. “Yes, I’m young, but I know what I want. If Peller was beating me, I wouldn’t stay. This isn’t 1960. My life and mental health come first. That push was wrong, but I believe he will change—and I’m also working on myself to control my own reactions.”
Jarvis further rejected claims that she is with Peller for fame or money. She explained that they are both still building their careers and criticized people for making assumptions about her finances simply because she doesn’t flaunt her wealth online.
She concluded by reaffirming that her relationship is her personal choice, not dictated by public opinion:
“I know what I want, and I go for it. I’m with him because I love him, not for fame, not for money.”
