Mr Eazi Replies to Claims About Funding His Wedding with Music Money

Nigerian singer Tosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has addressed a social media claim that he is trying to recover money spent on his wedding through music.

Earlier this month, reports confirmed that Mr Eazi married Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, in a private ceremony at Hallgrimskirkja Church in Reykjavik, Iceland. The intimate event was attended by Temi’s family, billionaire Aliko Dangote, comedian Brodashaggi, and close friends.

After the wedding, Mr Eazi released a new single titled Casanova. Following the release, an X user suggested that the artiste was attempting to use music to raise back the money spent on the wedding, writing:

“Mr Eazi wan low-key raise money wey him spend for that wedding.”

In his response, Mr Eazi dismissed the claim, questioning the possibility of music funding his type of wedding. He wrote:

“U think sey music go fit pay for that wedding my G? Lol.”
