Ruth, the younger sister of former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna, has sadly died.
According to reports, she passed away from injuries she sustained a few days ago after being hit by a truck belonging to the Dangote Group.
The news was confirmed by the SUG President of Auchi Polytechnic, who shared her photo on Instagram with the caption “RIP” and crying emojis.
Earlier, Phyna had publicly called out businessman Aliko Dangote and his company after the crash, alleging that the police were ordered to remove the truck’s plate number. She further warned that although Dangote may be wealthy, “he is not God.”
In response, the Dangote Group released a statement, promising to cover Ruth’s medical expenses and provide full compensation. However, Phyna criticized the company’s message, pointing out the irony of wishing her sister a “quick recovery” when her leg had already been amputated. She also reminded them about the motorcycle rider who was critically injured in the same accident.
This heartbreaking incident has sparked reactions online, with many sympathizing with Phyna and calling for justice.
