Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe Adeoti has expressed deep gratitude to the public following the death of her mother, Mrs. Abisola Grace Owodunni.

The actress, who announced her mother’s passing a day earlier with a candlelight post and the caption “RIP mum”, returned to Instagram to appreciate the love and support she has received.

In her message, Aigbe thanked friends, fans, and colleagues for their calls, prayers, comments, and messages during her family’s period of mourning.

She wrote:

“On behalf of myself and my entire family, I want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who called, DM’d, commented, offered prayers, provided support, and showed love during this difficult time. I am immensely grateful. Thank you.”

Her note has since drawn more condolences and prayers from sympathizers, with many urging her to stay strong.
