Nigerian media personality and first-time mum, Toke Makinwa, has shared a heartfelt message as she signed out of the month of August.
Weeks ago, it was reported that Toke welcomed her first child, a baby girl, whom she named Yakira Eliana, Olakitan, Iyanuoluwa, Ikeoluwa, and Adunola. The new mum revealed that this is the happiest moment of her life, as her daughter has shown her a kind of love she never knew existed.
Taking to Instagram, Toke admitted she is completely obsessed with her daughter and has been taking countless pictures of her.
In her emotional note, she expressed gratitude to August for giving her the “best gift ever” and joyfully celebrated her new role as a mother.
She wrote:
“Whelp! My mum is obsessed. She keeps taking pictures of me.
Signing out of August with a heart full of gratitude.
Thank you, August, for bringing me the best gift ever.
I’m somebody’s mommy.”
The post warmed the hearts of her fans, who congratulated her once again on this new chapter of motherhood.
