Popular content creator Ola of Lagos has opened up about a painful lesson he learned after trying to help others.
In a recent online chat, Ola revealed that he entered a business deal simply because he wanted to be “too nice.” Unfortunately, the deal went wrong and left him with a massive ₦18 million debt.
“Imagine pulling ₦18 million from your pocket to pay for a debt you shouldn’t have had in the first place. It makes no sense,” he said.
Ola explained that the experience taught him the importance of setting boundaries, even when trying to do good.
“That experience made me decide never to be too nice again. I still show love to the streets, but now I do it with sense,” he added.
