It appears controversial Nigerian singer Portable and his former girlfriend, Queen Dami, may have rekindled their relationship.
Checks on Instagram revealed that the singer and the former wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo have re-followed each other. Portable also liked Dami’s recent post where she wished her fans a Happy Sunday, further fueling speculation of a reunion.
The development drew mixed reactions online as fans shared their opinions:

This comes after months of turbulence in their relationship. Earlier this year, Queen Dami reconciled with Portable after a messy fallout that saw both of them exchange allegations online. Dami was even accused by a friend of sleeping with men for money, a claim that led to further drama when Portable publicly confronted her.
In one incident, reports claimed Dami fainted after Portable questioned her about her body count. The singer mocked her online, even sharing how many times she allegedly called him to reconcile.
Their troubled relationship dates back to 2024 when they separated in a bitter social media drama. Portable accused Dami of infidelity, abortions, and even claimed she contributed to the late king’s death. Dami, in turn, cursed him for tarnishing her name and clarified that their issues began over a misunderstanding with her social media live adverts.
Despite the rocky past, their romance has remained a public spectacle. After the death of the Alaafin of Oyo, Dami openly moved on with Portable, who confirmed their relationship in 2023. On Valentine’s Day that year, Dami proudly declared her love for him in a heartfelt post, describing Portable as her man who had her whole heart.
Now that they have reconnected on Instagram, fans are once again speculating that the controversial pair may truly be back together.
