President Tinubu Arrives in Lagos Ahead of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary After Attending the Olubadan’s Coronation.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Friday for a working visit, as confirmed by Bayo Onanuga, his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy.

His visit comes just days before Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Anniversary, which will be celebrated in a low-key manner this year.

Before arriving in Lagos, President Tinubu attended the coronation of the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in Oyo State.

During his stay in Lagos, the President is expected to meet with key figures in the private sector as well as senior government officials to discuss ongoing national matters.

He is also scheduled to visit Imo State on Tuesday, September 30, where he will inaugurate several projects completed by Governor Hope Uzodimma.

As part of the Independence celebrations, President Tinubu will commission the newly remodelled National Theatre, now renamed The Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts.
