Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has publicly appealed to Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy for a music collaboration.
The street-hop star revealed that he had already spent the N20 million gift Burna Boy gave him after his victory over Speed Darlington in a celebrity boxing match. Portable stressed that, rather than money, he now prefers a feature with Burna Boy, which he believes could change his life.
In a video, Portable openly told Burna Boy that if they work on a song together, it could earn them a Grammy Award.
He said:
“I don spend that 20 million finish, I prefer featuring. Make Una help my life. All my fans dey ask for featuring. Feature me, we go collect Grammy. You big pass Davido…”
The singer’s bold plea has sparked reactions online, with many noting his determination to push his career beyond cash gifts.
