"Nigerians owe a lot to President Tinubu," says FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has credited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership for the recent infrastructural progress recorded in Abuja.

Speaking on Tuesday, October 14, during the commissioning of newly completed access roads in Sector Centre B of the Dakibiyu District, Wike praised the President for providing what he described as “the right leadership.”

According to him, the road projects were completed because of Tinubu’s guidance.

“By Mr. President’s leadership, all the roads here have now been completed, and in the next few months we will be here again. The Court of Appeal Division will soon be inaugurated by Mr President,” Wike said.

He further stressed that effective governance makes remarkable development possible.

“I have always said that when you have the right leadership you can achieve unexpected results. Tinubu has shown the right leadership and that is why we are able to achieve. Talking about the achievements we have made, it is because of the right leadership.”

Reflecting on the transformation of the area, the Minister said residents will hardly believe it is the same Dakibiyu District they once knew.

Concluding his remarks, Wike urged Nigerians to acknowledge Tinubu’s efforts despite criticism.

“Nigerians, we owe a lot to the president. Yes, tongues will wag, but when you are focused, you will achieve results,” he said.
