The rumours began after an emotional clip of his colleague, Kemity, appeared on Facebook, in which she claimed Itele D Icon was in a severe condition and unable to walk. Responding to the speculation, Itele clarified that the footage was recorded several years ago when he was indeed unwell, but it does not reflect his current state.
In a caption accompanying his video, he wrote:
“ATTENTION MY KOLEOSO FAMILY. Fake news alert. Please ignore ANY fake news going around about me. I am perfectly fine, healthy, and working as always. Some people just create lies for attention, don’t fall for it. I’m good, my energy is solid.”
The actor’s message was aimed at reassuring his supporters and putting an end to the false rumours about his health.
