Dr. Oluwatoyin Olubukola Rahman, the wife of Lagos APC spokesperson, Seye Oladejo, has expressed deep sympathy for Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, who is currently facing serious marital issues with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The situation escalated after the recent arrest of Regina’s brother, Sammy West, which stirred public concern and emotional reactions online. Reports suggest that the couple’s marriage has been troubled by allegations of domestic violence, harassment, and drug use. However, Senator Nwoko has denied the claims, instead accusing Regina and her brothers of substance abuse.
The drama took a heartbreaking turn when Regina broke down in tears on social media, accusing her husband of tormenting her family.
Reacting to the situation, Dr. Rahman — a U.S.-trained medical doctor and mental health expert — took to Instagram on Sunday, November 9, to share her emotional response. She revealed that she had been unable to sleep since hearing about Regina’s ordeal.
“She’s about my daughter’s age, yet already a woman. Yes, I can’t sleep. She’s been on my mind a lot,” she wrote.
“They say she’s guilty of all accusations. Maybe so. But women, Regina is our child, our sister, our reflection. Regina is YOU. Regina is ME.”
Her heartfelt message has since drawn attention from many Nigerians, who praised her for speaking out with compassion and highlighting the need for empathy in difficult marital situations.
